October, 22th 2000	Pat Metheny Trio -> Live November the 21th will be the release date of the new Metheny Trio Live album. It will be a double CD and will contain songs from the latest Pat Metheny Trio album, some Metheny 'oldies' and 3 new tunes. You can take a listen to one of the songs at Jazz Online. Besides, there is feature about the new album at the PMG Listener Network. Future of this site Since the Pat Metheny Songbook came out, only a few new transcriptions were added by our visitors. Of course we know that all of you can just play from the great songbook now. At the moment we don't know what the right thing is for us to do with this site. So if you have suggestions or comments about this issue, please let us know by sending us an e-mail.
June, 18th 2000	New Lyle Mays Album Lyle Mays' fourth recording has been released this month. It's called Solo Improvisations For Expanded Piano. March 24th, 2000	Songbook Available!!! After many delays the publisher is finally releasing The Pat Metheny Songbook!!! This is what we've been waiting for! The latest information we have received from the publisher is that the book will be in leadsheet fakebook format, and includes 167 songs in 448 pages. The shipping has started, so it will only take some days now before we can start playing all Pat Metheny songs. Of course, it's still possible to order the songbook. February 9th, 2000	The latest about the Songbook There is some interesting news about the upcomming songbook at Pat Metheny Group Listeners Network.
February 4th, 2000	New Pat Metheny Trio Album February the 8th will be the release date of the new Pat Metheny album called Trio 99->00. You can already listen to one of the songs called "(Go) Get it" in real audio, or in Liquid Music format. Some sources say the Trio will be on tour again in Europe in june and july. No news Songbook It looks like we still have to wait for the songbook, though the latest information is that it will be released somewhere this month. The songbook will contain 158 songs!
December 5th, 1999	New Transcription New update: a transcription of The road to you! Check it out on our transcription section. The soundtrack "A map to the world" has been released. It's definately another masterpiece of Pat. People who like Secret Story, Beyond the Missouri Ski or Passagio per il Paradiso might like this album as well.
November 15th, 1999	The lines are on again! Some of you were interested in 'the lines page'. Claes had them on his site, but we had not added them on our site. But now you can see and listen to some of Pat's great lines!
October 30th, 1999	New Michael Brecker album! November 2nd was be the release date of the new Michael Brecker album called "Time Is Of The Essence". This album features Michael Brecker, Pat Metheny, Larry Goldings on Hammond B3 organ and three drummers; Elvind Jones, Bill Stewart and Jeff "Tain" Watts.
